Frequently Asked Questions

How does the time tracking work?

Our timer uses precise timestamps to track your work time. When you start a timer, we record the exact moment. Your accumulated time is calculated by comparing the start time with the current time, ensuring accuracy even if you close your browser.

Can I run multiple timers at once?

By default, only one timer can run at a time. Starting a new timer will automatically pause any currently running timer. This helps ensure accurate tracking of your focused work time.

Where is my data stored?

All your timer data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Your data never leaves your device, ensuring complete privacy. However, this also means clearing your browser data will reset your timers.

What are the different time formats?

We offer three display formats: Standard (HH:MM:SS) for precise tracking, Decimal .1 (rounded to nearest tenth of an hour) for billing in 6-minute increments, and Decimal .5 (rounded to nearest half hour) for simplified billing.
